Shannon Rush-Locke - Studio owner and teacher of dance.
Ms. Rush-Locke knows a little something about the passion for dance as she began
her dance career at the Wheaton Studio of Dance at the age of
3. Over the past 26 years, she has assisted Ms. Reese
as an assistant teacher and later progressed to teacher
where she continues teaching all styles of dance. Her
dancing has led her to performing in numerous competitions,
conventions, and shows.
In addition, Ms. Rush-Locke
has appeared in movies, commercials, and pageants. She continues her dance education and uses her knowledge
to teach her students to appreciate and love dance
just as her, mentor Ms. Reese, has for the past 49 years.
Ms. Rush-Locke has attended college and is employed
by Montgomery County Public Schools (Special Education).
She also serves the Wheaton community as an EMT and
life member of the Wheaton Volunteer Rescue Squad.
